Ryan
Ryan Malfara loves to be challenged. He loves to completely dedicate himself to something he believes in and something that will not only benefit him, but the people around him. This is especially true if it is for a charitable cause, like raising money to build schools in Ecuador, climbing stairs that match the height of Mount Everest or riding his bike across Ontario, there is nothing short of dedication, determination and commitment to accomplish the task at hand.
So trekking to the North Pole is nothing short of this selfless ambition to challenge his body and mind. If you are not aware already Ryan is setting out to the North Pole to complete The Polar Race. The initial goal is merely for personal pleasure and satisfaction to take on a challenge that is so extreme. The next goal is to mentally will himself through something that only very few people would even consider to take on. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete for Ryan unless there was an opportunity to help others along the way, thus a charity, GoodLife Kids Foundation, must be involved.
At the end of this month long endeavor Ryan’s goal is to take this new life skill and apply it to others. Everyone needs a little motivation and self starting – why not hear it from a 25 year old who has spent his whole life so far only pushing and driving himself to go farther, faster and higher!
Sharing this experience and enriching the lives of people is Ryan’s ultimate goal. He wants nothing more than to demonstrate to people that you can take yourself through not only life’s day to day challenges with strong vigor and intent, but you can even go further an accomplish something big. That is not only gratifying on a personal level, but spiritually as well.
